Why Volunteer for Flow Surf Academy?

Volunteers are the heart of Flow Surf Academy and one of the key pillars that make Flow Ohana Surf Days possible. It takes a team to create the magic that happens in the water, and our volunteers are a huge part of what makes each day special for the families we serve.

You don’t have to be a surfer to volunteer with Flow. Whether you’re helping athletes get geared up, cheering them on from the beach, assisting instructors, or supporting our events, there’s a role for everyone to make a meaningful impact.

Volunteers help create the energy that defines our camps—high-fives on the beach, encouragement in the water, and celebrating every wave ridden. Many of our volunteers say they leave the beach feeling just as inspired as the surfers themselves.

You may find yourself helping at Ohana Surf Days, group surf camps, fundraising events, or special community gatherings, all of which help us continue expanding our mission of empowering neurodiverse individuals through surfing.

If you’re looking for school or community service hours, we’re proud to be a place where your time truly matters. But more importantly, volunteering with Flow means becoming part of a community that believes in ability over limitation and celebrating every victory—big or small.

No matter your experience level, we’ll find a way for you to be part of the impact.

Come join the Flow Ohana and help us create unforgettable days in the ocean. 🌊🤙

As you fill out your info on the right, you’ll also be asked to complete a quick Volunteer Liability Release Form, nothing scary, we promise! Just give it a read, sign it, and upload it when prompted. Thanks so much for rolling with us on this!
